P90X Plus – Abs exercises in Abs/Core Plus (Day 178, round 2)
Here are three exercises of Abs/Core Plus. This is the abs workout in the P90X+ DVD set. I started to integrate the whole workout in my routine two weeks before. Hanging abs exercises have a reputation to be very effective, especially regarding the lower abdominal area. All things considered Abs/Core Plus is not that strenuous as Ab Ripper X. There are more moves in it and the overall rep count is lower. I decided to do it two times a week right after I finished my resistance workout and Ab …

@Rupey420
It won’t be easy; it WILL be hard. I recommend you write down the reasons before hand of why you want to make such a major change in your life and put serious thought into it. Then when you are struggling and start to loose initiative in what you are doing, read what you wrote and remember why it is you decided to bring it!! my 2 cents

If your goal is just about losing weight, regardless whether this is fat or muscle tissue, you can do any type of cardio exercising while having a caloric deficit. Lifting weights or even doing body-weight-exercises would probably hamper the progress. Maybe you want to take a look at “Turbo Jam” or “Slim In 6″ from Beachbody. As far as I know, these workouts are simply almost about cardio.

what is the best workout for someone needing to lose lots of weight?
January 9th, 2010 at 8:27 am
I have no special diet plan. I eat pretty healthy but also like to cheat a little bit every day. What I care about is my caloric intake. Not too little, but also not too much.

Four of five hanging exercises get extremely hard after 25-30 seconds. In an overall view, ARX is harder than A/C+.
January 9th, 2010 at 10:40 am
the only problem is, I don’t think I can hang on the bar for 30 seconds at a time :/ the exercises themselves don’t seem that hard compared to ab ripper x that it.
