this technique seem good if combine with long fast walking for at least 30mins, would help reduce weight loss. using that ball would help reduce back pain compare to lying on the floor.

I use a medium kids play ball (the tye dye colored ones).. you can get them at walmart for like 3 dollars. They are alot easier to use and they don’t hurt your legs as bad.

No, that’s not normal. In fact, that sounds very dangerous. If it’s happening during the first exercise, strengthen your shoulders before trying that particular exercise.
