when I was trying to do a crunch I couldent help but lift my feet off the ground a little bit. How can I fix this problem?

  15. kdawgproductions Says:

    the second half of …
the second half of the way up is a waste of time. Your abs are no longer needed for that range of motion, you abs are only worked in the first range of motion, which is why a crunch is more effective than a sit up.

  16. greedsb1tch Says:

    yea, i can do 100+ …
yea, i can do 100+ crunches but that’s not really the point lol. what i’m saying is, the slower you do a crunch, the more tension you will be putting on your core, thus working it out more than what you would do in 100. its better to perform the exercise correctly to maximize the gains

  17. RiflemanBob Says:

    I couldent even do …
I couldent even do 20 crunches, and your talking 100???

  18. greedsb1tch Says:

    yeah, you can go …
yeah, you can go all the way up too, but if you do, don’t pull with your neck, it will develop back/neck problems cause your putting strain on it. go slowly also, it requires more focus and strength, and will give you a burning feeling sooner than doing like 100 of ‘em.

For the floor crunch, is it bad to go up all the way instead of half way like what this guy did? And if so why? I thought that it would be better to go up all the way like for the elbows to touch the knees.
