The two things you would need in order to achieve that perfect six pack abs are: discipline and determination. Without one or the other, the road to abs perfection can be a very long, torturous road indeed. Discipline means that you are more than willing to cut a lot of unfavorable elements in your diet, your exercise and current lifestyle; and really keep to a rigid perfect six pack abs program instead. Determination means you are sticking up to your discipline, no matter what. This sounds easier than it really is. But if you do want that perfect six pack abs, you really need to make some major sacrifices, like:

1. Keeping up with an escalating workout regimen. Like all great exercises, your perfect six pack abs program should be done on an escalating scale. As you grow stronger and more athletic, your exercises should also increase in both intensity and duration. This allows your body to gradually gain that musculature definition via natural means. Try to get into tip top condition first before trying any one of these intensified exercises. This is especially true if you are overweight, or you have a not-so-regular exercise regimen. Find the Perfect Abdominal Workout Tricks For That Flat Tummy

The Abs muscles are slowly contracted while the shoulder blades are lifted gradually. The chin and neck muscles should not be stressed while the legs are supposed to remain in a fixed position. The torso is slowly lifted towards the knee and is followed by the body being gradually lowered. Another effective exercise is the long arm crunch. This is similar to the basic crunches.

Though it may appear simple, many people are unable to perform the abdominal workout crunches properly. Doing it correctly is a sure way of making it very effective. 6 Pack Abs Exercises – Exercises to Help You Shape Perfect Abs

Since all you have to do is turn on the TV after 10 pm to see the junk, I’ll focus on a few 6 Pack Abs Exercises that will help you build more muscle in your stomach in less time.

Below are my 3 favorite Ab exercises.

Crunches

Yes, plain old crunches. They may not be flashy or exciting, but they work. Do a set of these then move on to one of the other exercises. Make sure you have good form and make sure you don’t grab your head. rest your hands behind your neck, but keep your body stiff, don’t curl your neck. Remember, it’s about crunching your Abs

together and lifting your shoulder blades toward the ceiling.

Mountain Climbers

This exercise is extremely easy to do, but works your abs tremendously. Get on your hands just like you would if you were doing a push up, keep your feet straight out behind you.  For the best effect, keep your stomach low to the ground. Now lift one leg to your chest and return it. Then repeat this motion with the other leg.  That counts as one rep.  Repeat for as long as you can. this works the whole stomach. Lift your legs toward the opposite elbow if you want to focus on your obliques.

Leg Lifts

Lie flat on your back with your feet straight out in front of you. Place your hands behind your neck just as you would if you were doing a crunch. Now, keeping your feet together and your legs straight, lift your legs toward the ceiling. Lift them until they are about 2 1/2 feet off the ground, or at about a 45 degree angle, then lower them back until

your feet almost touch the ground. Make sure you don’t bounce your feet. Stop fully before beginning to lift them again, and make sure they stay approximately an inch from the floor at the lower position.
